
ABOUT OUR KARATE SCHOOL
Learn from the BEST – Tony and Louise are both practicing school teachers with decades of experience in education and martial arts. They are both graded and trained in Okinawa the birthplace of Karate.

Our club is small and caring, with sensei Tony in attendance at a majority of the classes. Shuhari Karate Club over the years has produced state, national and world champions often competing with much larger and more commercial organisations.
Modern sports principles and equipment used in all training sessions that enhance ALL sports and school academic results – Shuhari Karate is the complete sport for children and adults

Ciara Carroll
Tony has been training in Karate for nearly forty years and continues to do so.
He is affiliated to Okinawa the birthplace of Karate and senior instructors visit our club regularly from Okinawa. All gradings sanctioned by Okinawa
He is also an accredited Exercise Physiologist and registered Phys Ed teacher in WA
Louise has practiced Karate for a number of years winning State Championship titles in Kata. Louise is also a registered school teacher and an active yoga participant.
Louise has trained in Okinawa and graded by Shorin Ryu Okinawa an international Karate organization headed by sensei Tamaki
Ciara Carroll
Ciara has practiced Karate since the age of 4. She has recently been graded to Black Belt and is keen to help with the junior class in 2020.
Ciara has trained in Okinawa and was complimented by the masters for her good technique and Kata presentation.
